Our Business Board
The APPG Business Board, Chaired by Kim Rowell, brings together senior leaders from across business, finance, academia, civil society and the third sector to provide grounded, real-world insight into the development of policy on equitable governance.
Its role is to act as a critical friend to parliamentarians, translating lived commercial experience into practical, proportionate recommendations that work for SMEs as well as larger organisations. The value of the Board lies in its cross-sector composition, ensuring policy is informed by how governance operates in practice, not theory.
By convening diverse voices around a shared evidence base, the APPG Business Board strengthens legitimacy, improves policy design, and accelerates adoption by aligning parliamentary intent with the realities of the UK economy.
