Parliamentary & Committee Members

The APPG on Equitable Governance is chaired by Sarah Edwards MP.

Supporting her are our cross-party, cross-House Committee Members:

  • Baroness Verma – bringing extensive parliamentary and ministerial experience, alongside her leadership in championing diversity, enterprise and inclusive growth.

  • Amanda Hack MP – contributing her perspective as a current Member of Parliament, ensuring the voices of businesses and communities are represented within the policy landscape.

  • Baroness Brown of Silvertown – adding strategic expertise in innovation, sustainability and higher education, strengthening the group’s evidence-based approach to systemic change.

Together, the Chair and Committee Members provide the governance, direction and parliamentary oversight necessary to uphold the integrity of the APPG, enabling it to convene diverse voices, shape informed debate, and influence effective policy reform.

Committee Members  (alphabetical)

An All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) is composed of Members of both the Houses of Commons and Lords who come together across party lines to pursue a shared interest or policy area.

The members of an APPG play an active role in shaping its direction, contributing to meetings, evidence gathering, stakeholder engagement, and inquiry work.
